Lord Jesus,
Just as Peter began to sink when he took his focus off Jesus after having faith and stepping out of the boat to walk to Jesus in the storm, we realize that we are called to “look to You”, to keep our eyes on You every second of every day as much as we can surrender our minds to You. I have come to believe that salvation is just that, present not past tense, and perpetual surrendering each moment to You. Lord, I believe that is the relationship that You desire and the surrender that pleases You. If we can surrender each moment to fully focus on You and what pleases You, we will always “choose Life” and Your Holy Spirit will pour out Your “Living Water”, Your “Love” to others through our life and our surrender to You. I believe lives will be touched, Seeds will be planted, and souls will be saved through our surrender of every moment to You, looking to You as much as we can, second by second. Lord, lead us today. Thank You for the manna that You have given this morning, lead us to share that manna (Your Love, Your Spirit, Your Living Water) with others today always putting others before self. Help us to sink down into the humility that pleases You. Lead us, guide us and protect us from the evil one today, and every day. In Jesus’ Most Precious and Holy Name, I pray. Amen
